Meeting Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni 

One of the reasons why I chose to visit NYC for my 15th birthday trip was because I wanted to meet my hero Mariska Hargitay and sexy Chris Meloni.

The night before going to the set we checked the address. At first we were at the wrong street, but we checked again and walked to the right one. When we got there we saw lots of orange papers that said TO SET ——>  and we followed them.

We got there and these two ladies (crew members) told me that Mariska was there but she was going to spend the whole day shooting inside, LIAR! 10 minutes after that, Mariska opened the door of the house, that was the filming location, and talked to some guys there. Then Chris came out too and I was like ohmygodand grabbing my face, he looked at me, smiled and started doing what I was doing,DEAD! 

Mariska started walking out of the house and I followed her to the make up trailer. I swear I was shaking so much. I stood up on the trailer’s stairs, like two steps from her, and told her Mariska, I came from Argentina to give you this book with letters from your fans. She smiled at me and said You’re leaving now? Wait for me, I have to do my make up.

So I sat there with my mom and dad. While we were there, Chris stood near us talking to one of the crew members and then went inside the make up trailer with Mariska.

 

After an hour they got out of the trailer (first Mariska and then Chris) and got into another trailer (Mariska to one and Chris to another) to change their clothes. While we were out there waiting, this guy was like She won’t have time to stop  and I thought She’s Mariska, she’ll stop for her fans.

15 or 20 minutes after that, a gorgeous Mariska dressed up as Olivia Benson walked out of the trailer, looked at all her fans, smiled and said Ohmygod!

This random woman gave her a present for baby Amaya and Mariska looked so happy, so sweet! Then it was my time to talk to her, yay. I explained her everything about the book, she opened it, smiled and said This is so touching! I died when she said that.

She started signing autographs with a girl’s pen but it stopped working so she asked for another one and I gave her mine.

One of the girls from the crew said it was time to go, but I told her Mariska,can we take one quick picture? She smiled at me and said Of course! After the picture I told her Thank you, you are amazing! and she replied Thank you! and started walking away. Suddenly she stopped, looked back at me and said I look forward to reading all the letters.


When she left I started crying but not for much because amazing Meloni got out of his trailer. I called his name but two of the crew members said he was talking on the phone. But he (so sweet) turned around and gave me his autograph. Before walking away he WINKED at me and smiled.

APRIL 15TH was the best day of my whole life! I finally met two of my idols, specially my hero Mariska Hargitay. Watching the way they treated fans made me love them even more, because they showed so much love to us, it was amazing! She was super sweet and kind to me, and Chris was funny and as sweet as Mariska. I will remember this day as the day that changed my life forever.
